Our traditional Hotel-Restaurant Astraka is situated in an exquisite, picturesque part of the mountains of Papigo region, in the Zagoria.Papigo is 59km north-east of Ioannina. The mountain range of Timfis, the crowns of which reach 2.497m, dominates in the entire village shaping in the north the ravine of Aoos and in the south-west the imposing gorge of Vikos, with the river Voidomatis. We cordially invite you to delight in the taste of our regional dishes prepared according to original Greek recipes. Our friendly staff offers you professional service in an unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Our 10 very cosy rooms are furnished according to original Greek tradition and dispose of an open fireplace.
The traditional guesthouse "Astraka" is one of the oldest buildings in Papigo with particular architecture. Built in 1864 and repaired in 1977 without changes in the traditional form of the building and with concern of GREEK TOURIST ORGANISATION. Apart from the traditional guesthouse you may stay in our studios.
